Testimonial

“I bought Darren’s photographic user guide to the Copper Coast in Ireland. I can honestly say that it is very well-written and very thorough. You can expect to reap the benefits of Darren’s wealth of knowledge gained through many trips to the area. In addition, he is open and honest about the actual “at the leading edge” practicalties of going to shoot at each particular location covered by the guide.

You will be provided with information regarding the local area, travel times, accessibility, respecting the environment, when is best to visit, what recommended gear and equipment to bring, how the weather and seasons impact said location, etc. Also, and of added benefit, Darren provides a treasure trove of information regarding what apps to use and how will be of use to you.

The interactive maps in each guide are excellent, and there is scope to gain further detail on each particular sub-location. You also have the option of links to videos on Darren’s Youtube channel, showing how he approached getting the image(s) featured.

He also speaks about the wider area around each location, and of any interesting places to visit, sights to see, providing a further bonus so that you can explore further each said area. There are plenty of helpful tips and advice that are worth paying attention to.

I simply cannot recommend the guide to the Copper Coast enough (and I intend to purchase the other guides in the near future!), and I know that when I am able to get myself over to Ireland, I will be able to reap the rewards from Darren’s extensive efforts in creating these guides.
