Whats involved:

I will join you for a virtual editing session to help you with any tricky images you are editing and provide you with some of my editing workflow techniques which will help you for later edits on your own too.

Using Lightroom mainly I will take you through a step by step process at a pace that suits you, to ensure that you have the maximum understanding of what each slider can do for your images.

Less is more often more in editing, and subtle adjustment can made the most difference, I will show you just how powerful a RAW file can be.

I will also take you through my uses for photoshop & when to use it, which will be on a basic level, this isn’t a full on photoshop course after all :-)

Below is a Typical example of what we will cover during your online editing session

  • File organisation on your computer comes first, before you even import a file into lightroom to start the edit. I will take you through my workflow here from the outset, so you have an organised catalog to work with afterwards

  • 1. How to Straighten & crop your image correctly

    2. Find & remove dust spots with ease with one trick

    3. Adjusting the white balance to your advantage

    4. Correcting exposure, contrast and haze if required

    5. Selective adjustment of saturation & vibrancy

    6. Selective sharpening where needed

    7. Histogram review, optic adjustment before exporting

  • Organisation of your finished image is key to a clean structure of files

LR catalogue is also a great tool to have organised.

Exporting in different formats for different purposes
