COAST Volume II: Continuing the Journey Along Ireland’s Atlantic Edge
For over a decade, I have been exploring Ireland’s coastline with a camera in my hand.
From dramatic sea cliffs and hidden beaches to remote islands and forgotten corners of the Atlantic coast, my goal has always been the same: to capture not just what these places look like, but what they feel like.
The coastline of Ireland is constantly changing. The weather, the tides, the seasons and the light all combine to create moments that will never happen in exactly the same way again.
That is what makes photographing these landscapes so rewarding.
Every image has a story behind it. A journey, a challenge, a decision, and often a lot of patience waiting for that brief moment when everything comes together.
This is the story that became COAST Volume I.
And now, I am incredibly excited to announce that the journey continues with COAST Volume II.
A new chapter begins
When I created the first COAST book, I never expected the response it received.
The support from that first Kickstarter campaign was incredible, with the project being fully funded in less than 24 hours. Seeing people connect with the photographs, the stories and the idea behind the book gave me the motivation to continue.
But while Volume I captured a chapter of my journey along Ireland’s coastline, I always knew the story was not finished.
There were still more locations to explore.
More images to create.
More stories waiting to be told.
COAST Volume II is the continuation of that journey.
It features over 100 pages of completely new coastal photography from around Ireland, showcasing some of the places that have challenged me, inspired me and kept me returning with my camera time and time again.
Like the first volume, this book is not simply a collection of photographs.
Every image has a story.
I want you to understand where the photograph was taken, what conditions I faced, what challenges came with creating it, and the decisions behind capturing that final image.
For me, the photograph is only part of the story.
The journey behind it is what makes it meaningful.
Why Kickstarter?
You may be wondering why I am launching COAST Volume II through Kickstarter.
The reason is simple: this book would not exist without your support.
Traditional publishing often means handing over control of the creative process, but Kickstarter allows me to create the book independently, maintain the quality standards I believe in, and bring this project directly to the people who genuinely want to be part of it.
However, there is something very important to understand.
No goal, no book.
Kickstarter works differently from a normal online shop.
The book is not already sitting in a warehouse ready to ship. The campaign must reach its funding goal before production can begin.
If the Kickstarter campaign is successful, the funds will allow me to move forward with printing, production and delivery.
If the campaign does not reach its goal, COAST Volume II cannot be produced.
This is why early support is so important.
The first few days of a Kickstarter campaign are critical. The momentum created at launch helps the project reach more people, and having supporters ready from day one makes a huge difference.

For me, COAST represents years of travelling, exploring, learning and connecting with Ireland’s landscapes.
