This week’s Episode: Fleeting Light at Kilcrea

I took many shots during this shoot, however, there was one in particular that I wanted to get, and it was one where I would have an interesting sky and a flick of light hitting the crop between me and the friary. When it happened I was ready to pounce. For the edit, I wanted to exaggerate the difference in the scene between light and shadow, to bring the star of the show the friary, into more prominence. I did this by using a combination of liner gradients and also sky selections, but thankfully I had the majority of it done in the raw file in the first place.
