This weeks Episode: Ryans Daughters School House on The Wild Atlantic Way

I shot this location with the thought that I would need to take exposure bracketing shots, due to the light being so bright directly in front of me, however, I found that I actually didn't need to. The image I chose to edit for this weeks behind the raw was one that was at the very end of the day, the sun had gone behind the resident westerly cloud bank, and while it wasn’t shining directly I still had some nice glow in the sky and also hitting the building. As far as the edit goes it was pretty straightforward, nothing complicated at all, I adjusted my shadows and highlights, played with the white balance and finally brightened up the foreground using a linear grad. One of the most basic edits I have done to date in this series, but still goes to show that it doesn’t have to be overly complex when you get the shot right in camera in the first place.
