This week’s Episode: Mood
High contrast scenes are always difficult to shoot and edit. the key is, like most, to maintain your highlights; you can bring the shadows up in post. For this shot, I wanted to convey the mood that was there while taking the shot, so I edited this with that in mind. My simple steps allow me to not only transform the raw file but also bring out the subtle details in the scene without losing any of the other textures and details that existed.
