This week’s Episode: Mono Mood

I wanted to bring this image to life with more punch, as the conditions were indeed flat and editing in black and white allows us to go to town as such with the sliders, we can add more to the shadows, can go spinal tap on the highlights and even the colours, why because mono is all about the contrast between the blacks and whites and the more contract you have, the more punch you get. I wanted to ensure that my slider madness wouldn’t overdo the sky, so I added a grad in the post to balance the image and ensure the sky had more details.
