Photography Process: Understand the journey of capturing a photograph, from initial approach to the final shot.
Composition: Learn my approach to building an image, focusing on framing techniques and creating the star of the show. Discover how micro adjustments can fine-tune your composition for a perfect shot.

Location: Donegal, along the Wild Atlantic Way, offers a raw, untamed coastline that’s a photographer’s dream. From jagged cliffs to pristine beaches, the region's dramatic landscapes evoke a sense of freedom and adventure. The wild windswept shores, vibrant coastal sunsets, and peaceful rural scenes capture the very essence of Ireland’s rugged beauty. Donegal’s blend of natural power and tranquility creates an inspiring atmosphere, perfect for photographers seeking to connect with Ireland’s wild spirit.
The workshop may include locations such as Crohy Arch, Fanad Lighthouse, Malin Head, Dunlewey among others. Please note that these locations are subject to change due to factors like weather conditions or accessibility, and may vary depending on the session.
Time: Starting just before sunrise and finishing after sunset you will get to fully immerse yourself in the location and reap the rewards of a great day out with your camera.

What to consider beforehand ?
What is your understanding of your camera
Bring charged batteries, empty memory cards & spares, camera body ( of course), 1 x wide and 1 x telephoto lens ( you don’t need the kitchen sink )
A Tripod is needed for long exposures as are filters
Sturdy boots/ Wellies, clothing to keep you dry and warm, Irish weather can change quickly after all
I will send you a questionnaire beforehand to get to know your needs more
