When editing waterfall images, it is vital to get your exposure right while on location, and in particular when it comes to the water itself, you need to ensure you have the texture preserved and don’t blow any highlights, these steps give you the best opportunity to maximise the result when it comes to editing. For this shot, I wanted to bring out the colours that were in the scene, keep the detail in the water, and add more depth to the image.
